Theme Parks

Canobie Lake in Salem is only 30 miles from Boston and is a great quick escape from that Downtown city adventure. The park features water rides, virtual rides, a Corkscrew roller coaster, and of course; the Xtreme Frisbee!

Santa's Village located in Jefferson is open during most of the year but is focused on the Christmas Holiday season. There are reindeer, elves, and lots of hustle and bustle...young kids will love this.

Story Land in Glen is designed with young kids in mind and goes out of their way to make them feel as if they are in the middle of an enchanted fairy tale. There are no thrill rides but the kids will love to spin in circles slowly on the tea cups. There are shows and other attractions, so if you want to get some pictures of your little monsters with cotton candy all over their faces-this is your shot to take those future comprising pictures.

New Hampshire Lighthouses

Although most of these lighthouses are not open to the public, they still make fantastic photo opportunities for your digital camera safari. If you need to fill a few hours on your New Hampshire road trip then you should grab your digital camera and begin the lighthouse hunting!

Outdoor Festivals are great for the entire family and the majority of the festivals you will encounter in New Hampshire are for the family and trips you would want to generally avoid for a college road trip. Loon Mountain has an ice cream and also an annual hot dog festival and you can spend a great day at low costs.

Wineries are relatively common throughout the state of New Hampshire and it is a perfect opportunity to escape the large city of Boston and relax in this mild setting.

Horse Track

Rockingham Park is located in Salem features live harness racing, greyhound racing, and simulcast action. You can not bring your own food or concessions into this park but don't worry too much because they are available for purchase on site.
